There is a lot of excitement around the office today as we have just received our CARB EO# for our Hemi Supercharger Systems! Our CARB EO# D-488-16 not only applies to the Challenger, but it applies to just about every HEMI application out there!  So be on the lookout for our next Hemi Systems to start debuting very soon.  Next up will be the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 6.1L, Dodge Ram 5.7L, and the LX Platform Triplets (Charger, 300C, and Magnum).

  1. Cameron Sands Says:

Would like to know how much the supercharger is for the challenger RT 2010

    • Our supercharger system for the Dodge Challenger retails for $6650 for the Black powder coated version and $7150 for the Chrome powder coated version.

      • Joseph Hicks Says:

Do you make a Supercharger for a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 Mega Cab 5.7 Liter Hemi. Basically fom 2006 thru 2008 the Dodge 1500 Mega Cab was actually a 2500 series truck with a 5.7 liter Hemi. But if you do make a Super Charger for my vehicle what is the price? And what model Super Charger is it? I need more power for towing. How much gain in horsepower and torque will I gain from stock?
        Thanks,
        Joe

  2. JD Morales Says:

When it will be release a version for the 5.7 Hemi Cherokee?

  3. have dodge magnum awd hemi need your imput what to do for more power and performance would like prices and were i can get it installed thanks in reno or lake tahoe area

    • Richard,
We have not yet released our systems for the LX platform (Charger, Magnum, and 300C) but they should be ready by the end of the year. Stay tuned to our blog as I can guarantee that there will be a big announcement as soon as they are available for pre-order or sale.

  4. I noticed that you will release the supercharger for the 6.1 L SRT8 Jeep this month. What is the anticipated pricing? Can you please have someone contact me? Thanks

    • Hi Scott. Thanks for your interest in our new Jeep SRT8 supercharger system. This system is now available for preorder and should be shipping out around mid-November. The kit retails for $6650 for the Black finish and $7150 for the Chrome finish and is currently available for the 2009-2010 models. Please give me a call at 805-642-8833 x255 if you have any more questions.
      Regards,
      Jon Barrett

  5. I would like to know know if you are going to release a supercharger for the 06-08 Hemi 1500 Rams. If so, how much a kit would cost.

  6. I think yall have the MP2300 for the 06-11 Dodge Ram Hemi 5.7′s. I was wondering if that kit is out on the market yet. If so, how much a kit cost.

    • Adrian,
That kit should be debuting in the next couple of months. It should be retailing for about the same price as our Challenger kit – $6650 for Black Powder Coat Finish and $7150 for Chrome Powder Coat Finish.

  7. Gentlemen,
I just read an article about the supercharger for the Ram Hemi in Truckin’ Magazine, and can’t wait for it to arrive for the masses; Nov. 13th issue, Vol. #36. Now we Ram owners might have a chance against the Ford supercharged trucks. Let us know what other mods should be done to have the supercharger operate at it’s optimum capabilities; ie. piston ratio, etc.. In addition, let us know if it the supercharger will operate on stock engines. By the way, I have a 2005 Dodge Ram Daytona Edition truck.
    Thanks,
    Chris

    • Chris,
Thanks for your interest in our upcoming system for the Dodge Ram pickups. We design our systems to be completely compatible with ALL stock components (keeping all factory equipment is also required to run the tune we supply). This system should debut in the next couple of months for MY09-2010. Once this system debuts we will then work on getting a representative sample of the previous MY trucks to verify installation and tuning parameters.

      • Vincent Says:

Is the system for 09-10 Ram 1500 out yet? Your 2010 4th Quarter catalog has it listed but I can’t find anything on the site.
        Thanks.

        • Hello Vincent. Yes, our system for the 09-10 Dodge Ram is now available. Our website is in the process of being redesigned from the ground up so what is up there right now is not quite current. That system is available in either a black finish for $6650 or a chrome finish for $7150. This is for a complete bolt-on system that includes everything you need for a complete installation as well as tuning for your vehicle. If you have any more questions please give me a call at 866-535-3251 x255.
          Thanks,
          Jon Barrett

  8. I swapped a 2008 LX motor into my 2007 Jeep Wrangler and is currently CARB compliant. Would your supercharger work in this application?

    • Eric,
There is definitely a chance our new SRT-8 Jeep kit could work on your application. Which engine did you put in your Wrangler – the 5.7L or the 6.1L? If you could send me some pictures of the engine in your Jeep that would definitely help in figuring this out. We should be able to put a supercharger on it but your vehicle will more than likely have to be custom dyno-tuned. My email is jbarrett@magnacharger.com .
      Thanks,
      Jon Barrett

  9. Phil Kessler Says:

I saw in the new Truckin magazine the 2009 Dodge Ram with the new Magnuson supercharger for the 5.7L Hemi. I am excited to get one when yall release it soon for my 2009 Ram. What I was wondering is with the supercharger installed, will I be able to keep the MDS ( Variable Valve Timing), or will the new flash computer program for the superchager do away with that? Also, you said in an above comment that you have to keep all factory equipment for the program tune you provide, does installing a cold air intake, headers, and dual exhaust count, or would the program still work that you would provide?
    Thanks,
    Phil Kessler

  10. Really want a magnacharger for my 06 charger w/5.7 will you be making a kit w/tune for this year or is there a kit that is currently available that will bolt on and then allow me to go get a custom tune installed so i can run the car?

  11. hey wondering if the jeep srt8 kit will work for older models like my 2007

    • The Jeep SRT8 kit will work on all model years of SRT8 Jeeps. However we only have tuning for the 2008-2010 currently. If you have an 06 or 07, than you will just need to have a custom tune done.

  12. Do you have the kit for the2010 jeep srt8 out yet.And do you know if i will need to update my transfercase.
    Thanks.

    • We have just released our kit for the 2008-2010 Jeep GC SRT8. This kit is designed to work with ALL of your stock equipment and comes with everything you need to bolt it on. Email me at jon.barrett@magnusonproducts.com or call me at 805.642.8833 x255 if you have any more questions or would like to get one on order.

  13. Any chance you will provide an application for the 3.8L 6 that is stock in Jeep Wranglers?

  14. I am interested in the supercharger for the my 5.7 Daytona. My dad has been running a 671 Blower on his cars since i was a toddler so its in my DNA. So my question is when are you releasing the supercharger for my 06 Daytona 5.7 or can I use the current one you have cause I live in Palos Verdes and ill be there tomorrow to get a kit if it will work for my car. I have 22,000 miles on it it that matters. Let me know whats up.
    Eric

    Thanks

  16. Didier Says:

  21. Wolfram Kinzler Says:

    Hello,
do you have the same documet for the 2011 Camaro 2SS.
I would need it to get my car registrated in Germany. Thanks in advance

  22. Steve E. Says:

When you release the supercharcers for the 2006 Magnums will it also work for the All Wheel Drive cars?

  23. Mike Huffman Says:

I have a 2007 Dodge Durango with the 5.7 hemi. Any idea what kind of work it would take to adapt a truck supercharger for the durango?

    • Good Morning Mike,
As of right now our superchargers only fit the newer (2009 and up) 5.7L engines. We are looking into what it would take to make our system work with the first generation 5.7L HEMIs but don’t have an ETA for availability. Please stay tuned to our blog and our Facebook for notifications of new product releases.

  24. David Lloyd Says:

Hi Guys, do you have a C.A.R.B. approved Magna Charger application for a 2010 Dodge Charger SRT8? I didn’t see anything listed on your website; just for the Challenger. Looking for information. Thanks! David in Valencia, CA

    • Good Morning David. Yes, our HEMI supercharger systems are CARB legal for the 2010 Charger SRT8. Our website is going under a complete redesign right now so that is why we haven’t updated what is currently up there. If you have any questions or would like to place an order please call me at 805-642-8833 x255.
      Thanks,
      Jon Barrett

  25. Just got my 392 green with envy. What magnacharger do you guys offer. Anything new & prices please. Thxz Rob

    • Congrats on your new Green with Envy 392 Rob. As of right now we have still not yet released our 392 system. As with the rest of the industry we are working on the tuning which has proven to be quite the endeavor. We WILL be the first to market with this system and deliver and unequaled combination of power, drivability, and reliability. As of right now the pricing is looking like it will be right about the same as our 6.1L systems. Stay tuned to our blog and our facebook for the official announcement of this system’s release.

  26. Need info and pricing on the new superchargers avilable for the 2011 392 challenger

  27. Curtis Lewton Says:

Please note my questions regarding driveabliity issues with the above kit. It has now been another 3 weeks with no reply whatsoever. I really like the clean installation, but no one seems to care about addressing issues. I sent the car to a local tuner, and he has pinpointed the problem. He has worked out much of the surging issue and continues to do more. It SHOULD NOT be ignored by MagnaCharger, but they do not seem to care.
I will restate: The performance is great, but to drive in traffic is NOT a fun experience.

The lack of control over the sudden surge, is very disturbing after the new wears off.
As of this moment, the performance is no quite up to that of my ZO6, but is much more driveable than MagnaCharger leaves you with.

I truly wish they would show some interest, as they have a great kit, if they ever learn what Kenny Bell and others have learned on these engines……….

Not a bash, but this is real world experience.

You might note that they do not even respond on their forum???

    Too bad,

    • Actually Curtis I sent you an email the day you posted up your problem 3 weeks ago but never heard a word from you. We will be more than happy to send you a revised tune to help your Challenger drive better as we have for many other owners. Perhaps it would have been more beneficial to call our toll free number at 866-535-3251. Please give me a call and I will get you in touch with our VP of Sales and we will be more than happy to make sure that you are satisfied with your supercharger’s power output and drivability. My name is Jon Barrett and my direct extension is 255.

      • Curtis Lewton Says:

I did not receive an email. Please resend.. The installer here in Colorado has been waiting for a new tune, or any information for months……. I have called, and at first talked to Simon, who seemed to try to help. When I was referred to his “boss”, and I need to think of his name, he informed me that it was my car. And in some ways it is, but the kit is for the 6.1. I will call you today and see why the installer has not received a new tune. I posted to see if anyone would respond, as we obviously have not has results otherwise. I hope we get this taken care of.

        Thanks curtis

  28. Can you install this on a 2010 R/T 5.7 AUTO, and still
    keep MDS ? I drive this car alot – 30,000km a year….

    • Good Morning Joe,
Thank you for your interest in our HEMI superchargers. We do have a system for the 2010 5.7L Auto Dodge Charger. Unfortunately the supercharger is not compatible with the MDS system so it is turned off. However, the lack of the MDS system is offset by the fact that the intake system is more efficient so you shouldn’t see any appreciable decrease in gas mileage (unless you are having too much fun and driving with your foot to the floor all the time). If you have any more questions please call me at 866-535-3251 x255.
      Thanks,
      Jon Barrett

  29. Günter Sieger Says:

I live in Germany and had my Challenger SRT 8 equiped with your Magna Charger. Tha cars runs great although i have not managed yet to reach the promised topspeed of 300 km/h (187mp/h) as i have not found our autobahn empty enough. As my wife has a 2005 mustang with a supercharger i always feel it reacts much faster after stepping on the accelerator than my Challenger. My dealer in Germany tells me the 2,3 l. charger needs more time to fill the bigger engine, is this correct, and if so why do you not offer a bigger blower with 3.0 l or even more ?

    All the Best from Germany
    Günter Sieger

    • Actually, the larger the blower the slower the power response. A 1.9L blower would actually come in to boost quicker but, because of the small balancer the HEMI engines have, would need a much smaller pulley so belt slip would be an issue.

  30. Curtis Says:

Interested in the Magnacharger, but Doesn’t installing the magnacharger,,,” VOID”! My 100,000 mile powertrain warrenty, with Chrysler? This trade off for H.P seams risky..whats your opinion.. I got a new 2011 R/T Challenger 5.7 With only 1,800 miles on it.

    • Unfortunately at this time no tuning solutions exist for the 2011+ Dodge vehicles. As soon as a tuning solution is sorted out our systems will be ready to go. As for your warranty of course adding a supercharger will nullify your factory warranty. However if you just want to bolt the supercharger on and leave the intake, headers, and cats alone we do have optional powertrain warranties available up to a 5yr/100k option.

  31. Lexicon Says:

This may have been asked before but what about the HD Ram 2500 with the 5.7L? I have a 2011. I have not spent more than about an hour looking but all the chatter does not show a kit.

    • Unfortunately at this time no tuning solutions exist for the 2011+ Dodge vehicles. As soon as a tuning solution is sorted out our systems will be ready to go.

  32. I have a 2010 Challenger srt8 with 1 7/8 in. racing headers, high flo cats, and 3” dynomax ss exhaust #39484. Living in Alb.,NM, what kind of HP gains could I expect from your new supercharger?

    • Hello Paul. With our standard bolt-on supercharger system you would typically see about 120 hp gained at the rear wheels. With our additional modifications you can get more power out of it but you will need to custom tune and possibly add a fuel pump booster.

  33. Hi, does the Magnacharger M2300 kit work with a 2010 Dodge Charger RT/AWD? how much power will it makes due to the AWD’S parasitic drain? Thanks!

    • Hello Richard. With your AWD system you hp gain at the wheels would be seen more like a 100 hp gain. However, you will still be gaining the approximately 150 hp at the crank.

  34. How much horsepower would be add to the new challenger r/t

  36. Hello Jon, i was wondering if the Arrington Performance HEMI Supercharger was available for a 2010 dodge ram 5.7? Or is just the MP2300 avail at this time? Also is the stock air box the only fit, can the Arrington V-CAI-90 HEMI Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake fit in a ram 1500 ?
