“Hey! That thing got a Hemi?” is one of the most recognizable ad slogans in the automotive industry. But now MOPAR admirers have another question to add to that, “That thing got a MagnaCharger?”
Yes, you heard that right, the news everyone has been waiting for is here – we are now officially taking orders on our TVS 2300 systems for the 2009-2010 Dodge Challenger 5.7 and 6.1 Hemi! We have been working furiously on completing these kits to deliver the power and driveability that Magna Charger is known for. On top of that we have just passed Emissions testing and the data is now being reviewed for final approval. We are starting out with an initial production run of 50 units to ship out on August 15th. So hurry and order yours now and don’t miss the opportunity to be one of the first MagnaCharged Challenger’s on the road!
Utilizing Eaton’s Twin Vortices Series four-lobe, high-helix rotor technology (just like the ZR-1 Corvette and Cadillac CTS-V), our TVS2300 2.3L intercooled supercharger system is an intercooled system that is complete with all components necessary for installation. Included in the kit is a new patented cast aluminum intake manifold, intercooler core, coolant circulation pump, heat exchanger, and all the necessary hardware to complete the entire installation. Best of all, this system does not require any hood modifications.
I know what you are thinking, “Enough with the technical talk … Give me some numbers!” Well, here they are. The kit for the SRT8 6.1L Hemi delivers a max of 6.8 psi of boost and makes a very healthy 474 horsepower and 460 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels. Numbers for the 5.7L Hemi will be released soon so stay tuned for those.
We are also proud to announce that we have become a sponsor of the ChallengerTalk forums. If you have any Challenger supercharger related questions or are looking for a MagnaCharger Dealer to get your Hemi system through, head on over to the forums and drop us a line.
