  1. Hi there. I own a challenger srt8 6 speed. im from edmonton alberta, canada. i was just wondering about the magnacharger kit. if i ordered through u guys all the warranty and what would be the shipping price and the price for the actual supercharger. i know is going to be avaliable soon. are u always gonna have them on stock or just one time thing. thank you very much and appreciated ur time.

    Oswaldo Hungsberg.

    • Oswaldo,
Thank you for your interest in our new Hemi Supercharger Systems. The price for these systems are $6650 for the Black Powdercoat finish and $7150 for the Chrome Powdercoat finish. The optional 3 year/36,000 mile powertrain warranty is an additional $200 (this covers the car for 3 years/36,000 miles from the original purchase date of the vehicle and requires the vehicle be unmodified except for the supercharger). As for the shipping I am not sure on the actual cost of that. If you want to email me (jbarrett@magnacharger.com) your address, I can get you a shipping quote. The first production run of 100 units will be shipping out on August 16th. These systems will still be available after that but may take 2-3 weeks to ship out from the time they are ordered.
      Regards,
      Jon

      • What kind of #’s would I expect on a 2009 R/T auto? I have a Mopar CAI and a Solo Performance catback exhaust.
        Thanks,
        Gaston

        • Gaston,
On your 2009 R/T you should expect to see around 120 hp gained at the rear wheels off of just 6 psi of boost. If you want to use the tuning that we provide you will have to put your stock air box back in though. Also, if you wanted to make your MOPAR CAI work you would have to cut it up quite a bit as the throttle body is relocated with the supercharger.

  2. My car is a 2009 Challenger SRT8 naturally aspirated 426 with a 11:1 compression ratio. I have a couple of questions. Can the MagnaCharger be put on the engine and if so at what boost level (the engine is rated to 1200HP) . I produce 532 RWHP and 542 RWTQ in NA configuration. What would my expected gain be in HP/TQ?

    Thanks
    Al

    • Applications for the older Hemis will be coming soon. We are finishing up our kits for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and the 5.7L Ram and will then be moving on to the Charger/Magnum/300C platform. More than likely the first model years to be covered will be the 2009-10/11 since we already have experience tuning those years. After the systems have been designed and built we will then move onto ensuring backwards compatibility testing for the older vehicles. Hardware wise they should be 99% the same but we need to verify that as well as creating tunes for the older ECU OS’s.

    • All of our kits are “bolt-on” kits. They require minimal, if any, modification to the vehicle at all. They are designed to work with all of your factory equipment and reuse the factory air box. If you have any more questions feel free to call me at 805.642.8833 x255.

Twin supercharger for my little hemi and what I need to know is about how manny dollars it is going to take I hope to get 800 HP well near that I hope so I will look back latter on email thanks shane

    • Our supercharger system will work on the 2008 Challenger but we just don’t have the tuning done yet. So as long as you get it custom tuned it will work just fine. Give me a call at 805.642.8833 x255 and I’ll help you find and Authorized Dealer and tuner in your area.

    • The 392 Dodge Challenger is due to hit the streets some time next month. As soon as it does we will have a car in here for testing so that we can release that kit as soon as possible.

  4. Hey, I was wondering if you guys will make a supercharger for the 2005 5.7L Hemi Ram. They have the procharger for my truck, but I don’t like the design.

    • We are actually just now releasing our TVS2300 system for the 2009 and 2010 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI. Call your local MagnaCharger Authorized Dealer and they will be able to quote you on the system and the install and be one of the first Rams on the road with this system.

  5. Hi guys, very interested in your kit for my 2009 SRT8 Challenger, will I be able to use my C&L induction kit with it, or do I to go back to the standard airbox/filter setup?(the filter is rather restrictive!)

    Rgds

  6. I have an 07 charger srt8. I was looking forward to getting this supercharger. but was informed you don’t have one available for that year. but since they are basically the same, why can’t i just use a new model of the supercharger on my car. i have someone whos very knowledgable at installing them.

  7. Does the Magna Charger fit the 2009 Challenger 5.7 ltr Hemi an does it come with everything needed including complete installation instructions ? Also I have a Predator tune system with an Airaid CAI that i’d like to keep if possible ?

  8. hay im nassa from Dubai i have a 6.1 Challenger SRT8, I have the same supercharge that you guys are selling but i dont know how to programe it or in a another words i dont know how to installe it properly can you please help me

  9. I had a question about the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on a 2010 5.7 Challenger. Do I need to take the vehicle to a shop to have the system installed in order to get the warranty, or can I install it at home, and still have the warranty?

    • Yes Daniel. One of the main stipulations of the warranty is that it be installed by A) and ASE certified mechanic, B) one of our Authorized Dealers, or C) a Dealership.

    • Ron – These systems take roughly 8-10 hours for installation and require only basic tools (wrenches, drill, etc) though a right angle drill makes the crank-pinning easier. These systems start at $6650 for the Black Powdercoat and $7150 for the Chrome. If you have any more questions please give me a call at 866-535-3251 x255.

    • Bob – We are currently working on the tuning for the new 2011 computer systems. Please stay tuned to our blog and our Facebook for updates on the impending release of this system.

    • Chris – We are currently working on the tuning for the new 2011 computer systems. Please stay tuned to our blog and our Facebook for updates on the impending release of this system.

  10. Do you guys have any plans on building a MP2300 kit for the new 2011 Dodge Charger RT? If so, WHEN?

    • Good Morning Bob,
We are definitely planning on supercharging the 2011 Dodge Charger RT. However we are currently working on the tuning for the new 2011 computer systems. Please stay tuned to our blog and our Facebook for updates on the impending release of this system.

      • Cool. I hope the tuning is finished before the end of the year, there are A LOT of people waiting for a company to be able to tune for the 2011+ Chargers (me being one of them!). These cars weigh a ton and need all the extra power they can get! Thanks again guys! 😀

  11. i want a s/c on my 2011 dodge durango please please ley me know via emal all info asap as i would like it supercharged asap and will continue untill i find something to fit it . thanks,b cash childress

    • Good Morning Cash,
As of right now we don’t have a system available for the 2011 Dodge Durango. Like the rest of the industry we are still working on tuning the new 2011 computers. Once we have that figured out then we will be able to look at making a system for your Durango. Please stay tuned to our blog and facebook for the official release of these superchargers.

  12. In your experience, how much power can the 5.7(09+) Hemi make SAFELY on everyday pump gas? (either 87 or 90 octane). Do these motors have any weak points when going FI? (rods, pistons rings etc) Not a Mopar guy, but the Magnacharger got me interested in them! Thanks again, you guys are awesome!

  13. Are you planning on building one for an 2005 Dodge Ram Hemi 5.7? I’d love to have one for my truck.

  14. I would like some 5.7 performance numbers please. My 2011 challenger rt needs a Magnacharger system, I dont want it to be stupid though. What can the 5.7 handle? I’ve been told 8 psi is about max, what do you guys think? A supercharger would be the cats ass on this thing!

    • Steven – Thank you for your interest in our supercharger for your 2011 Dodge Challenger 5.7. Unfortunately at this time no tuning solution exists for the 2011+ Dodge vehicles. Once tuning is available though, our system will produce 6 psi of boost on a stock vehicle and deliver gains of around 120 hp at the rear wheels.

  15. What if no one decodes the PCM and us ’11-’12 guys are left in the dust without a supercharger kit?

If you guys decode the ’11 PCM, the ’12s should be similar and work with the ’11 SC kits?

  16. I in addition to my pals came reading through the nice tactics on the website while instantly developed an awful suspicion I had not expressed respect to the blog owner for them. These women are already certainly happy to read through all of them and have in effect truly been using them. Many thanks for being really helpful and also for pick out varieties of marvelous tips most people are really wanting to be informed on. My personal sincere regret for not expressing gratitude to sooner.

  17. i ordered a magna charger last night for my 2010 dodge challenger rt, my question is what type of maintenance will i have to do to it?

    • Congratulations on your purchase! One of the major benefits of our superchargers is that they do not require any maintenance for until nearly 100k miles! At that point you will want to change the oil in the rear cover of the supercharger. That oil, called “Supercharger Oil,” is available at the parts counter at any GM Dealership and you only need 205mL of it. Congratulations again on your new supercharger and please let us know if you have any more questions.

      • I own a 2012 challenger SRT8 with a 392 hemi and 6 speed stick, which is awesome, i was considering one of your supercharger kits, GM oil ( really ) why cant i get supercharger oil from my dodge dealer. My 392 is factory rated 475 HP, could i realistically see 600 HP with one of your kits.
        Thank you glenn

  18. How much boost do you recommend for a 2009 challenger 5.7 litre engine? I live near Akron Ohio do you have any shops in this area that could install the supercharger in my challenger? My zip code is 44278. Thankyou – Jim Runion.

  19. Hi there,

I’m expecting delivery of a 2012 jeep grand Cherokee overland with the 5.7 hemi. Do you know if the kit will fit under the hood. Will the 6 speed auto tranny and power train survive the added power?

Also is there a way to custom tune, the perfromance, I want all the low end power the kit can give but none of the added revs that are showed on your graph

  20. Hi, how does 6 psi effect the longevity of the 5.7 Hemi in the long run? I have 14k miles on my 2009 Charger RT AWD, and plan on ordering one of these kits very soon! I want my motor to last 120k+ miles (with regular service maintenance of course!)

  21. Hello, I have a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 with the Hemi 5.7 and wondering if and when it will be available for my application. I have been waiting along with hundreds of others for a supercharger for the 2011 Ram truck.

  22. Hey. I have a stock 2005 ram 1500 4 by4 truck with the 5.7 and I want a supercharger. Any direction on product and number gains you could give me. Tnx

    • Im trying as well to find a supercharger kit for my 2010 5.7 Jeep Grand Cherokee hemi. Is there any kits out there? and where?

  23. I am surfing on line over Three hours now, on the other hand by no means uncovered every interesting document similar to your own house. It is quite price enough for me. In my view, in case all internet masters and blog writers designed ideal information while you almost certainly performed, the web might be a lot more useful than any other time.

  24. I will be addind shorty headers should I do a cam up grade to get the max out of the supercharger .. its not going to race ..

  25. Hi
